Cabo de Gata beaches

The coast of Cabo de Gata is a privileged enclave because, hidden away are some of the most beautiful beaches and virgin coves in Almeria. Endless beaches, rocky inlets and small cliffs open to the Mediterranean, caressed by gentle breezes with spectacular contrasting landscapes. Ideal for a holiday with your partner, away from it all.

The nearest beach to our 5 star hotel in Roquetas de Mar and in the centre of Almeria is the Torre Garcia beach, fine sand stretching for almost 2 kms, framed by a natural dune ridge and with easy access. There is a monitoring service and the occupation is low even in the summer high season, which converts it into one of the quietest beaches of Cabo de Gata.

Subsequently if we take the route to the area of Carboneras, there is the Las Amoladeras beach, almost 4 kms. of virgin sand and situated at the mouth of the Rambla de Morales. Continuing we will find the Charco beach, much smaller, about 400 metres, and with a varied collection of birds circling above the water and including colourful flamingos and storks.

The third beach along this route is the beach with the same name as the natural park, Cabo de Gata beach. This is the most urban and equipped beach of all, because it is in the centre of the village, with an inviting sea front promenade with many restaurants offering some of the best produce extracted from the Mediterranean sea.

There are more beaches which form part of this Almeria coastline, such as La Almadraba beach, the La Fabriquilla, Ancon beach, the cove of la Arena, Cala Raja and the coves of la Vela Blanca, amongst many others.
